School of Healing Prayer for Leaders
Jacksonville - USA, 30 April - 4 May |
|
The School of Healing Prayer for Leaders that was held in Jacksonville from 30 April to 5 May 2007 was an outstanding event, so much so that the overwhelming request of those attending was that ICCRS repeat a similar course in the future. We had 425 registered participants from 42 countries (covering the 5 continents). There were also 23 priests who concelebrated daily Mass for the Conference, and Bishop Victor Galleone from St. Augustine in Florida who celebrated the opening Mass. We all participated in the ministry to the people who attended.
Francis and Judith MacNutt, founding members of Christian Healing Ministries (CHM) were the main speakers at the Conference.

the way to holiness. Amongst the Retreat participants were some
twenty Bishops and two Cardinals.

International
Institute for
Catholic Charismatic Leadership Formation©
5-25 June 2005 |
|
In 2005 ICCRS established the International Institute for Catholic Charismatic
Leadership Formation©. The Institute is a serious and concrete
response to the mandate that Pope John Paul II gave to ICCRS to
promote a “solid and profound Christian formation” in
the CCR in view of the “vocation and mission in the Church
and in the world”.
The first course was held in Sacrofano (Rome) from
June 5th to 25th, 2005 and there were 43 students from
16 countries of all the five continents.
|
The students, recommended
by their National Service Committees or Communities, had the opportunity
to strengthen their catholic identity; to immerse themselves in
a strongly spiritual dimension in which they could practise the
charisms of the Holy Spirit; to receive a solid formation for
leadership, thanks to the experience of the teachers, historical
CCR leaders; all this in an international context and close to
Rome, in the heart of the Catholic Church. The students had also
the opportunity to visit some important holy and symbolic sites
of Rome and some Vatican dicasteries.
At the end of the course the students received a participation
certificate. The next Institute will be organized in June
2007.

Pilgrimage to holy sites in Italy
"12 days of blessings"
18-30 September 2003 |
In September 2003 ICCRS organized an International Spiritual Retreat of five days (20-25
September), in Castelgandolfo (Rome). Fr.
Raniero Cantalamessa guided approximately 1200 participants
in a reflection on the apostolic letter of John Paul II, “Novo
Millennio Ineunte”. The retreat was preceded by a Leaders Consultation
(18-20 September), two days of prayer and reflection on the nature of
the CCR. Led by Allan Panozza and Charles Whitehead, this time was deeply
prophetic
for the whole international charismatic community.

The retreat continued with a five
