Andres Arango

Andres was born in 1976 in Medellin, Colombia. In 1995 he received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and since the he has served the Lord in various ministries. In 2001 he moved to the United States of America.

Currently he is the bishop’s delegate for the Hispanic Ministry and the Director of Evangelization in the diocese of Camden, New Jersey. He is also the National President of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal in USA and Canada, Vicd-President of the Latin-American Catholic Charismatic Council (CONCCLAT) and consultant of the Sub-Committee for Hispanic affairs of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. He also teaches in the ICCRS Formation programs, and in the online Theology program of the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.

He is married to the international preacher Kathia Gomez from Paraguay and together they have served the Lord in various ministries. They are besides the proud parents of the twins Giovanna and Nicole.

Andres studied in the University EAFIT in Colombia, where he obtained the degree of Production Engineer. He also belonged to the Association Servants of the Holy Spirit where he finished his Philosophy studies. In 2005 he attended the first ICCRS Leadership Formation Institute in Rome. Later he finished the Masters degree in Theological Studies at the Franciscan University of Theology in Berkeley, California.

God has given Andres the blessing to exercise, mainly, the gifts of formation and preaching, proclaiming the Word of God in various places around the world. He has also recorded series of programs of formation and has written articles on evangelization for various means of communication in the United States and Latin America. Andres is the author of the book “With Power… the experience of Pentecost.”
