OPERATION UPPER ROOM 2008

On the promptings of Bl. Elena at the end of the nineteenth century, Pope Leo XIII asked all the faithful to celebrate a solemn novena (9 days of prayer) prepetually between Ascension and Pentecost for the unity of Christianity.

The first well-spring of renewing action is prayer, which connects us with the Spirit of Christ who is "He who renews the face of the earth." (Bl. Elena Guerra)

Operation Upper Room 2008

Is a vision to unite as CCR, world-wide, in Novena Prayer Events, night and day, thereby weaving a dense global prayer network of adoration and intercession before Pentecost.

Get involved

In a variety of Upper Room events organized by NSCs, prayer groups, communities:

• 9 night & day Pentecost Prayer Networks (national, regional or local), Special prayer meetings;

• Burning Bush Cenacles; Prayer Vigils; 3-day Pentecost Triidum.

Register your events

So we can rejoice together at the marvels of what the Holy Spirit is doing;

• NSCs organized nationally can register as a nation; otherwise communities, groups or individuals can
  register directly;

• When 'registering': give the type of event/s, date/s, an time/s and number of expected participants.
